Mand21 is a modern space for men who want to reconnect with what truly matters — their longings, their courage, their dreams, and each other.
Every year, 120 men gather for a weekend away from routines, roles and expectations. A space to breathe, reflect and ask the real questions:
What do I long for?
What holds me back?
Where is the next step in my life?
We welcome men of all ages and backgrounds: founders, teachers, craftsmen, creatives, expats, fathers, students, leaders — men who feel strong, men who feel lost, and men who simply feel ready for something new.
Why we created Mand21
Mand21 was born from a shared experience among the four founders — Sofus Midtgaard, Jesper Krog, Jakob Kærgaard and Thomas Buch-Andersen:
When men meet without masks, something powerful happens.
Something healing.
Something deeply human.
We all saw how rare it is for men to have a space where they can be honest, uncertain, courageous, vulnerable, curious or proud — without being judged or told who they should be.
And unlike many traditional “men’s programs”, we do not teach from a superior place. Each year, we build Mand21 from the inside out — from the very things we struggle with, long for, or want more of in our own lives.
That’s why the retreat feels different: We’re in it with you.
Mand21 is built on Nordic values: honesty, presence, equality, community — not gurus, quick fixes or macho ideals. Just men, side by side, supporting each other in becoming more themselves.
